From the Classroom to a Global Education Network
 

Lens Publishing and Network began with a simple belief: education improves when people have access to practical knowledge, meaningful support, and opportunities to grow.
 

My journey started in the classroom. Over the years, I have taught students of different ages, abilities, cultures, and educational backgrounds. I have worked in the United States and China, taught academic subjects and English, and experienced both supportive and challenging school environments. These experiences helped me understand that student success depends on more than a textbook or lesson plan. Teachers need effective training, students need learning that meets their needs, and schools need practical solutions that can be applied in real classrooms.

As I developed professionally, I became increasingly interested in teacher development, educational research, international education, and school improvement. I also noticed a recurring problem: many educators receive theories, policies, or general advice, but not enough guidance on how to respond to the situations they face every day. This realization inspired me to create practical resources and professional learning opportunities grounded in classroom experience, reflection, and evidence.

One of the first major results was Student Behavior Response Training, a professional development program created to help educators recognize student behavior, avoid harmful assumptions, and respond with greater care and strategy. The development of this program showed me that education professionals around the world share many of the same concerns. They want to support students, strengthen their skills, and become more confident in their work.

Lens grew from that purpose.

The organization brings together several areas of my professional work. Professional Development supports teachers and school leaders through courses, workshops, and certifications. Clear English helps learners strengthen their English communication through tutoring and practical instruction. The Good Teacher shares accessible educational videos and teaching guidance. Our research and publishing work transforms professional experience, data, and reflection into resources that educators and learners can use.

Lens also publishes several distinct newsletters. The Educator’s Lens examines teaching and education across cultures and classrooms. Clear English Journal supports language learners, parents, and teachers. The Strategist’s Lens studies military history, leadership, and strategic thought. The Statesman’s Lens explores international affairs, diplomacy, and the forces shaping our world. Although these publications address different subjects, they share one purpose: helping people become more educated, thoughtful, and aware of perspectives beyond their own.

I created Lens Publishing and Network because I believe knowledge should lead to action. Research should improve practice. Professional development should strengthen performance. Publications should encourage deeper thinking. Education should help people understand both themselves and the world around them.

​

Lens is still growing, but its direction is clear. My goal is to build an internationally respected organization that develops educators, supports learners, publishes meaningful knowledge, and contributes positively to schools and communities.

​

This is more than a business venture. It is the continuation of my work as an educator—and a commitment to use education, research, and communication to create opportunities for others.
