Service Description
Understanding Individual Needs. Supporting Every Student. Every student learns differently. Some students face challenges that require additional classroom support, patience, and understanding. CSBRP-Advanced builds upon the foundation of Student Behavior Response Training by preparing educators to support students with professionally diagnosed and documented educational needs. Participants explore five important areas of student support: learning disabilities, communication and developmental needs, neurodevelopmental conditions, emotional and mental health needs, and physical or health-related conditions. Through practical classroom cases, guided discussions, and lesson-planning activities, educators learn how to adjust instruction, provide appropriate accommodations, protect student dignity, and work with families and school professionals. This course focuses on educational support, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Course Details - Duration: 6 hours over 3 days - Format: Live online through Google Meet - Prerequisite: Successful completion of the original CSBRP course - Assessment: Knowledge test and adapted lesson plan, each requiring 80% - Credential: CSBRP-Advanced Certificate of Competency upon successful completion - Status: In development; pilot planned for January–February 2027
